This has been my best car buying experience. Richard knew the cars he is selling and could answer all my questions. There was no pressure to purchase or a limit on the time he was willing to spend explaining all I needed to know. It is not a flashy garage or showroom and having visited a few of those recently I was pleasantly surprised at the welcome from all of the staff and the way in which they conducted their business. I purchased a KGM Torres and would highly recommend this dealership and the staff. If your'e looking for a new car and a fair deal pay them a visit.

I have bought several cars from Hepworth select over several years. Everytime I have replaces my far I have had excellent service and the cars have always been superb. I have explained my needs and each vehicle matched what I wanted and were in excellent condition. The contract was always fully explained and I have had zero problems. Look no further if you are in the market for any Ssangyong vehicle. I have recently purchased a Rexton, before deciding on Hepworth Leeds I rang a number of dealers as far away as Swansea ( I live in North Lincolnshire ) discussed the car I had to part exchange, and the car I was interested in. From the very first call to enquire about a car, I was immediately put at ease, with the knowledge and honesty of Richard, who was more interested in ensuring I was happy than trying to sell me a vehicle. His valuation of my current vehicle was as good as any other dealer offered ( I rang at least 6 others ) and the deal he agreed was more than fair . I had a private number plate and wanted it transferring to the new vehicle, this was done with minimum of fuss by them, making the transaction trouble free for me. On arrival at the dealership, Patrick took great effort and patience to talk me through the car, and ensured I was fully up to date before he would let me drive it away. Nothing was too much trouble I cannot praise them enough for their professionalism and dedication to customer service.

I bought a family member a Citroen C3 Picasso from this dealership about a week ago.
Richard allowed me a nice test drive, before we discussed the car. It drove fantastically and with a few minor issues pointed out we agreed a deal.
I can safely say that the dealership went above and beyond what they had to do. All advisories on the MOT were rectified, a 6 month decent warranty given, and the car was really nicely presented when we came to collect. It has very low mileage, the alloys are perfect, the interior is lovely and we are over the moon. Great dealership with attention to detail second to none. Very highly recommended.

Looked around for a new Rexton, must have rang 10 dealers for the best price, on talking to Richard he was more interested in me being happy with my choice, the importance was on customer satisfaction, as he said the car speaks for itself.Got the best deal on part exchange, Richard and Patrick are head and shoulders above the others in relation to customer service, nothing was too much trouble ( sent a video, changed the number plate ) felt comfortable from start to finish. I found my car through Auto Trader and if im honest I was a little sceptical about buying a car through an independent dealership as I had always gone through the main dealerships previously.

I was served by Richard and I must say he was such a genuine and trust worthy guy. My car needed the alloys refurbishing and he made sure they were perfect before handing over the vehicle to me.

I purchased the new Ssangyong Korando from Richard at Hepworth's (5/21), wow, what a vehicle! however I'm not here to wax lyrical about the car, I'd gladly do that on request, to other platforms. The customer experience was second to none, the staff took ownership of the change over, paperwork etc, leaving a simple exchange of keys to finalise the sale. Because the garage is not all bling! you get a more family, personal experience and don't feel your money is being spent on unnecessary frivolous extras.
I will be going here in future.

If you own a Ssangyong and want to speak knowledgeable, helpful staff...then this is the place. Every member of staff I had dealings with was very friendly and helpful. I googled Ssangyong dealers and whilst not the closest to where I live, was definitely a find! I had tried, unsuccessfully, for weeks to source a specific part for my car. Now, I'm going to single out Garry as I had most contact with him. Not only did he identify the correct part, he willingly checked it against photos that I emailed to confirm it was indeed correct. Needless to say this part was ordered from him and was available to collect the next day! I also had an issue with the blown LED repeater in my door mirror. As there was no stock available anywhere, I resorted to eBay and sourced one. However, as it wasn't the same colour, somehow it looked different. I went back to Garry and asked if he would be able to confirm or not that this would fit my car. Bearing in mind he knew there would be no financial gain for his company, he once again went above and beyond and confirmed it would indeed fit. It does and thanks to Garry and Hepworths my car is now back on the road. If every company in the UK offered customer service of this standard we would be world beaters. Hepworths will be my go to for all my Ssangyong business, including my next upgrade! Thank you for taking the weight of the world off my shoulders when other main dealers couldn't/wouldn't. Absolutely first class! 5

Tl;dr - Great prices, great team, great & COVID safe experience. Would buy a car from again.

I recently bought a second hand VW Polo from the team, specifically working with Richard, and was thoroughly impressed by:

"¢ Staff knowledge over the vehicle (despite it being second hand) and its history
"¢ Vehicle price - with straightforward and very reasonable negotiations
"¢ Availability of staff to talk through the vehicle
"¢ The flexibility of the team to repair minor cosmetic damage as part of the sale

I was unsure about how to buy a car during the current COVID restrictions, but having recently bought 2 cars from DM Keith, and 1 from Arnold Clark over the last year, I think this was almost easiest and stress free thanks to Richard and Gary's explanations!

Although there was minor cosmetic damage to the side skirt at pickup, this is being rectified at the first opportunity with no quibbles.

Overall I recommend this garage to anyone considering a new or second hand car, I will definitely be considering them again when I look to change cars!

Richard and all the staff were great guys to do business with, he forwarded me a video show of the car and when I got there it was as I expected. Sitting on their forcourt lovely and ready to go. They made the paperwork easy, and I enjoyed the drive back home. Thankyou guys.. I'll be back to trade for an upgrade in a couple of years..... Mind you with the very low mileage on this one?

As my Honda Jazz was due its MOT and service at Huddersfield during lockdown I enquired about arranging this with the Horsforth branch. They were most accommodating and Richard(bless him) collected my car had it serviced and passed its Mot under the five year agreement at no extra cost. I also obtained a paint touch up pen for a minor repair I could carry out. This standard of customer care and personal service gave me a warm glow reminiscent of times gone by. I cannot speak too highly of this company and its personnel for the care and contact that solved all my worries at a time when our stress levels are high. I look forward to dealing with Richard and Gary in the future as I am grateful for their excellent organisation and communication.

Good quality cars and a reasonable price
Hepworths treat the customer as a customer unlike other dealers who may decide the customer is just a cash cow. They always give you time, do not rush and do not pressure you. You feel like they want you to buy a car but will not try to sell you one they have. They seem more interested in making sure you choose a car that suits you and not always what they have in at the time. They also make an effort to keep the cars reasonably priced, however this does reduce your ability to get a bigger discount. And the coffee is good too.
